The speaker registers as a native SIP endpoint or through InformaCast and Revolution Advanced Notification platforms, enabling bell schedules, pre-recorded announcements, live paging, and intercom without third-party signal processors. Auto-provisioning via SLP, DHCP Option 72, or IEDNet+ places the device on the same Voice VLAN as VoIP handsets, inheriting existing QoS policies and simplifying network administration at scale.
