The AtlasIED IP-22SYSMF is engineered for AV integrators and IT-security teams deploying enterprise-class IP audio in facilities where ambient noise, large coverage zones, or critical alerting demands exceed what standard ceiling speakers can deliver. The 2' x 2' suspended ceiling form factor drops directly into standard grid ceilings across corporate campuses, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, educational institutions, and industrial environments.
The system registers natively as a SIP endpoint or within Singlewire InformaCast and Revolution Advanced Notification platforms, enabling bell schedules, pre-recorded announcements, live paging, and intercom without a separate amplifier rack. Auto-provisioning via SLP, DHCP Option 72, or IEDNet+ places the speaker on the Voice VLAN alongside existing VoIP handsets, inheriting the same QoS policies and eliminating manual IP configuration at scale. GPI/O ports extend integration to third-party trigger systems for unified alerting.
The factory-assembled enclosure ships with grill, PCB amp/control board, and mounting hardware pre-installed, reducing labor at rough-in. The omni-directional electret condenser microphone mounted behind the steel-perforated grille enables bidirectional communication directly from the speaker location to any PC or phone handset, making it a practical choice wherever talkback monitoring is required alongside broadcast audio.
