The AtlasIED IP-PM8GD-B is built for AV integrators and IT infrastructure teams deploying enterprise-class IP audio in facilities where a single network carries both communication and public address. Drawing power directly from the Ethernet switch via PoE+, it eliminates dedicated amplifier infrastructure while delivering a full-range coaxial driver from a pendant-mount enclosure suited to open ceiling installations.

This speaker registers natively within InformaCast, Syn-Apps Revolution, and GCK Advanced Notification platforms, as well as directly to any SIP server or VoIP Communications Manager — making it a fit for campuses, healthcare networks, transportation hubs, and government facilities that standardize on a single communications platform. Support for G.711 and G.722 wideband audio ensures intelligibility for both routine paging and critical alerting scenarios.

Unlike passive ceiling speakers that require zone amplifiers and 70V wiring runs, the IP-PM8GD-B is a self-contained network endpoint. Static or dynamic IP addressing, 802.1q VLAN tagging, and HTTP GUI configuration give integrators the network management controls expected in enterprise deployments, while the included cable and compatibility with standard 3/4" ceiling fan hardware simplify rough-in on new and retrofit projects.
