AtlasIED IP-SA 8" Coaxial Extension Speaker for IPX Series

The AtlasIED IP-SA is engineered for installed audio environments where a single IPX series speaker cannot fully cover the listening area but adding a second amplified unit is cost-prohibitive. It draws signal and power directly from the 8Ω speaker output terminal on the IPX PCB, eliminating the need for a separate amplifier or additional cabling infrastructure. This passive extension approach is well-suited for commercial installs in retail spaces, offices, hospitality environments, and educational facilities where budget efficiency and coverage consistency are both priorities.

At its core, the IP-SA uses the C803A coaxial driver — a highly efficient dual cone loudspeaker system that delivers consistent output across the coverage zone. The unit ships preassembled with an aluminum baffle and a square grille finished in white epoxy, reducing labor time during installation. Mounting flexibility is retained through full compatibility with the same surface and flush mount enclosures used by the IPX series, including the IP-SEST-S, IP-SEA-S, IP-FEST-S, IP-STB tile bridge, and IP-STBE tile bridge with enclosure. This makes the IP-SA a natural extension of an existing IPX deployment rather than a separate product line to manage.
