The speaker registers natively as a SIP device or as a managed endpoint within InformaCast and Revolution Advanced Notification platforms, enabling audio broadcast, scrolling text, bell scheduling, and pre-recorded announcements across a WAN/LAN architecture. The integrated 25V/70V transformer with a baffle-mounted selector switch makes the IP-SDMF-72 especially valuable in retrofit and phased-rollout scenarios — the unit can operate on an existing analog paging system until IP infrastructure is commissioned, then switch to network operation without removing the speaker from the wall.
