The AtlasIED IPX Series IP-SM is engineered for commercial and institutional AV integrators who need a single network endpoint to handle public address, critical alerting, intercom, and bell scheduling without deploying separate systems. The 8" coaxial driver is optimized for voice intelligibility in high-ambient-noise environments and large spaces where smaller speakers fall short. The integrated omni-directional electret condenser microphone enables two-way communication directly from the speaker location to any PC or phone handset, eliminating the need for supplemental intercom hardware.

The IP-SM registers natively as a SIP device or as a communication endpoint within Singlewire InformaCast and Revolution Advanced Notification platforms, supporting auto-registration via SLP, DHCP Option 72, or IEDNet+. This places VoIP phones and IP speakers on the same Voice VLAN with shared QoS, ensuring communication integrity across the WAN/LAN architecture. GPI/O ports provide trigger inputs for intercom requests or critical alert notification and enable unified connectivity with third-party systems.
