AtlasIED IPCSD1 Push-To-Talk Digital Microphone Station

The AtlasIED IPCSD1 is a push-to-talk digital microphone station engineered exclusively for GLOBALCOM.IP distributed audio systems. It functions as a network appliance with a unique IP address that requires no configuration out of the box, making it the right choice for system integrators who need to scale paging or intercom infrastructure without adding configuration overhead at each endpoint. A single Ethernet connection carries both audio and control data, and IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet support eliminates the need for local power wiring at each station.

Audio is transported using Dante technology, delivering high-quality, low-latency digital audio over standard Ethernet infrastructure — a critical requirement for enterprise, institutional, and public address environments where timing and intelligibility cannot be compromised. The IPCSD1 is fully qualified for emergency evacuation and life safety applications, and can simultaneously serve everyday paging functions in dual-use system designs. Compatibility with IP108-D and IP116-D ACS Controllers with Dante capability ensures it integrates cleanly into existing GLOBALCOM.IP architectures without additional interface hardware.

For permanent installations, the IPCSD1 mounts into standard 1- or 2-gang electrical boxes, and an optional IEDA520DTB desktop base is available for freestanding desk deployments in dispatch, reception, or command environments.
