The AtlasIED IP Endpoint Activation License is a mandatory per-device license for any AtlasIED IP endpoint operating within a GCK software deployment. Systems integrators and AV network engineers managing distributed audio or paging infrastructure over IP must pair each endpoint — whether a ceiling speaker, display, or analog-to-IP gateway — with one license to enable network registration and GCK software management. Certain gateway devices require two licenses per unit.
This license tier covers deployments of 1 to 49 endpoints, making it the appropriate entry point for smaller installations such as single-floor paging systems, conference room deployments, or pilot rollouts ahead of a larger campus infrastructure build. Scaling up requires transitioning to the corresponding higher-tier license SKU for the applicable endpoint count range.
If the deployment also involves third-party control platforms such as InformaCast or SA-Announce, or if any endpoint will be registered as a SIP device, additional licensing fees from those respective software suppliers will apply independently of this AtlasIED activation license.
