The AtlasIED M1000-USA is a self-contained sound masking speaker assembly engineered for above-ceiling deployment in open-plan office environments where speech privacy is a priority. The integrated 70.7V transformer with an external selector switch and wattage taps ranging from 0.25 to 4 watts gives installers precise per-unit tuning capability across a distributed 70V system — a critical advantage when zoning large floor plates with varying acoustic conditions. The factory-installed collapsible galvanized EZ hang brackets support upward, downward, or horizontal firing configurations without field modification, reducing per-unit labor significantly on large-count installs. An integral wire strain relief on the enclosure top and a cover plate with knockouts for flexible or rigid conduit satisfy most local code requirements directly out of the box.
Assembled in AtlasIED's Ennis, TX facility, the M1000-USA meets Buy American Act standards — a requirement for federally funded projects and government installations. UL 1480 and UL 2043 listings confirm its suitability for use in air-handling plenum ceiling spaces, keeping the unit compliant with the NFPA 90A requirements most AHJs enforce.
