The AtlasIED MLE-3T is engineered for audio communication in classified hazardous locations where standard loudspeakers are not permitted. Built around a rugged die-cast aluminum housing, this compression driver delivers high-intelligibility voice and electronic signal reproduction in hydrogen and other combustible environments. The internally mounted 30-watt 70V transformer is factory-installed to satisfy UL certification requirements — field-installed transformers do not meet UL1203 compliance for this application.
Integration is supported by a pipe seal with integral field wiring leads and an adjustable mounting bracket, giving contractors and system integrators the flexibility needed for industrial installations. The MLE-3T is compatible exclusively with the HLE_MLE-30 polycarbonate projector horn and the HLE_MLE-32 spun aluminum bell horn — both UL Listed for use with this driver. Horn selection determines final dispersion pattern, either a wide 120° x 60° coverage area or a 95° circular distribution, making the platform adaptable to facility layout requirements.
With 60 months of warranty coverage and UL Safety Listed status to UL1203, the MLE-3T is the specification-grade choice for industrial PA, emergency communication, and mass notification systems operating in hazardous classified zones.
