- Integral Perforated Steel Mesh Panel Allows Equipment Display Monitoring Without Opening Door
- Sixteen-Gauge Metal Door Frame Delivers Rigid, Long-Lasting Structural Support
- Vented Micro Perforation Design Promotes Passive Cooling For Heat-Sensitive Rack Equipment
- Textured Black Finish With Color-Matched Lockset Provides Secure, Professional Aesthetics
- Shallow Profile Preserves Wall Clearance In Tight Wall-Mount Enclosure Installations
The AtlasIED MPFD12 is a 12RU micro-perforated rack door built exclusively for the WMA series wall mount enclosures, making it the correct replacement or upgrade choice for integrators who need both airflow and front-panel visibility in a single solution. Unlike solid rack doors that block LED indicators and display screens, the integral perforated steel mesh panel allows technicians to monitor equipment status and read TFT or CRT displays without opening the enclosure.
Constructed from 16-gauge steel with a textured black finish, the MPFD12 provides the rigidity expected in permanent install environments — classrooms, boardrooms, equipment closets, and house-of-worship racks where the enclosure may be accessed infrequently but must remain secure. The color-matched lockset adds a layer of access control appropriate for semi-public or shared facilities. At just one inch of depth, it adds minimal projection to the cabinet footprint, preserving clearances in tight wall-mount installations.
