The AtlasIED MUSICAVC-100Z is built for commercial audio integrators and installed sound designers who need reliable, low-profile zone volume control without adding complexity to single-amplifier speaker systems. Rated at 100 watts RMS and optimized for 8Ω operation, it supports impedance-matching ratios of 2X, 4X, and 8X — giving system designers the flexibility to connect multiple speaker pairs off a single amplifier channel without sacrificing clarity or headroom.
Attenuation is handled in eleven discrete steps plus a positive off position, structured to reflect how listeners actually interact with audio in real spaces: six finer 3dB steps at lower listening levels, followed by coarser 6dB and 9dB steps, and a single 28dB step before full mute. This stepped approach is more predictable and repeatable than continuous-pot controls, making it a practical choice for hospitality, retail, house-of-worship, and light commercial installations where end users self-manage listening levels.
The Decora-style wall plate mounts into a standard 20 cu. in. electrical box and ships with plates, knobs, and trim inserts in white, ivory, and almond — all fully interchangeable so the finish can match the installation environment without ordering additional parts. At just over 2-11/16" depth, it fits cleanly in most standard box installations without requiring deep-box accommodations.
