The AtlasIED PD60A is a purpose-built compression driver designed for system integrators and AV engineers deploying large-format horn speaker systems in high-power public address applications. Magnetic-structure components machined to optimum tolerances and a 2-inch voice coil work together to maintain intelligibility across demanding ambient noise environments. The 16Ω voice coil impedance is accessed via screw-type terminals protected by a transparent, impact-resistant cover that also provides cable strain relief — a practical detail for permanent installs where reliability over years of service is non-negotiable.
Terminated in standard 1 3/8"-18" thread male couplings, the PD60A mates directly with screw-on horns including AtlasIED CJ-46, BIA100, and DR Series units, giving integrators a predictable, validated system path. Its fully environment-resistant construction makes it equally viable for covered outdoor venues or indoor spaces with high humidity or dust exposure, where consumer-grade drivers would degrade rapidly.
