The AtlasIED PD75T is built for AV integrators and system designers specifying distributed audio in large, acoustically challenging spaces — sports venues, transportation terminals, outdoor amphitheaters, and industrial facilities where conventional drivers fail under environmental stress. Its fully environment-resistant, die-cast and polycarbonate injection-molded housing with gray baked epoxy finish is designed to survive continuous exposure to moisture, dust, and temperature extremes that would compromise a standard driver.
With a 2-inch voice coil, precision-machined magnetic structure, and phasing plug, the PD75T achieves a plane wave frequency response suited to both music reinforcement and high-intelligibility paging — making it equally at home in 70V commercial installs and direct-impedance configurations. The built-in varnish-impregnated multi-tap transformer supports a wide range of distributed audio wiring schemes, while corrosion-resistant screw terminals under a protective polycarbonate cover simplify field termination. The 1 3/8"-18 threaded male coupling mounts directly to screw-on horns, or pairs with AtlasIED YDA-TH adapters for bolt-on large format horns, giving integrators flexibility across a variety of horn systems. Replaceable diaphragms reduce long-term service costs in permanent installations.
