The AtlasIED PM8GD-WH is engineered for commercial and institutional installed audio applications where high speaker density and reliable speech intelligibility are required. Drawing on the proven GD87 coaxial driver platform, this pendant speaker delivers consistent, broad coverage across large areas such as atriums, warehouses, transit concourses, and cafeterias — anywhere paging clarity and uniform SPL distribution matter more than high-fidelity music reproduction.

The 70.7V distributed audio transformer is built in and concealed within the terminal block enclosure, keeping wiring clean and installation straightforward. Support for 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16-watt taps gives system designers the flexibility to fine-tune channel loading across long 70V runs, while the 8Ω direct input option preserves compatibility with low-impedance amplifier outputs. The speaker ships with three meters of 2mm cable and mounting hardware, and its standard 3/4" ceiling fan hardware compatibility simplifies retrofits into existing infrastructure.

With 96dB average sensitivity, the PM8GD-WH requires less amplifier power per zone than typical commercial pendant speakers, directly reducing hardware costs in high-count installations.
