The AtlasIED 14RU mobile equipment rack is engineered for AV integrators, systems contractors, and touring production teams who need a rugged, mobile rack solution that can handle real workloads. Built from welded 16-gauge cold-rolled steel with an 11-gauge adjustable front rail pair tapped 10–32 on standard EIA spacing, it provides a stable, professional-grade mounting environment for amplifiers, signal processors, patch bays, and other rackmount equipment.
Mobility is addressed with four oversized heavy-duty casters — two locking — rated at 175 lb. each for a 700 lb. total capacity, making this rack suitable for loaded touring rigs and permanent installs alike. Recessed, rubber-padded steel road handles on each side allow safe two-person transport between venues or within a facility without improvised gripping points. Front-to-rear rail supports include slotted cutouts that simplify rail depth adjustment and create managed vertical raceways for clean cable runs — a practical advantage in dense, cable-intensive installs.
Wire access through three rear base flange isolation holes, perforated flanges and panels for heat dissipation, and compatibility with optional RR14 rear mounting rails and the SFD14 front door give integrators meaningful flexibility as rack configurations evolve. The #962 black epoxy finish is purpose-built for environments where appearance and durability both matter.
