The AtlasIED RX21 series targets systems integrators, installed sound contractors, and touring production teams who need a road-worthy, full-height mobile rack that meets EIA spacing standards without compromise. The welded 16-gauge cold-rolled steel frame and 11-gauge adjustable front mounting rails deliver structural rigidity suited for densely loaded AV, DSP, and amplifier builds, while the front-to-rear rail supports with slotted cutouts double as vertical cable raceways — a practical advantage in rack-dense installs where wire management directly impacts serviceability.
Four oversized heavy-duty casters, two of which lock, give the cabinet controlled mobility across stage floors, machine rooms, and broadcast facilities. Recessed, rubber-padded steel grip handles on both sides allow safe two-person transport without add-on accessories. Three rear-base wire isolation holes — including an oblong port — simplify external cable entry in permanent installations where conduit or bulk cable runs terminate at the rack base.
Perforated flanges, side panels, and the included removable rear door provide passive ventilation critical for thermally dense equipment loads. The optional RR21 rear mounting rails and optional SFD21 front door expand the cabinet's configuration without requiring a different chassis, making the RX21 a scalable platform for everything from permanent house-of-worship installs to touring system racks that need long-term serviceability and a five-year warranty behind them.
