At the heart of the kit is the SD72W, an 8" dual-cone speaker with a treated curvilinear paper cone for reduced harmonic distortion, a full 1" copper voice coil on a black anodized aluminum former for efficient power dissipation, and a factory-installed 25/70.7V line matching transformer supporting tap selections from 0.25 to 5 watts. This design follows directly from AtlasIED's established C-Series sonic profile, so contractors already familiar with that platform can spec and tune with confidence. The CS95-8 back box features one-piece CRS construction with patch-jute lining, four J-clips, and flexible perforated mounting straps for secure above-ceiling installation. The 81-8R T-bar bridge provides a round cutout aligned to the CS95-8 enclosure with an electrogalvanized rust-resistant finish for long-term durability in plenum spaces.
