The curvilinear treated paper cone and full 1" copper voice coil with black anodized aluminum former provide clean, low-distortion audio reproduction suited to intelligibility-critical environments like conference rooms, hotel lobbies, retail floors, and healthcare facilities.
The SD72WV arrives factory assembled with transformer taps pre-wired at .25, .5, 1, 2, and 5 watts, and a baffle-mounted 5-watt volume control wired directly to the voice coil. The CRS baffle uses concealed mounting studs and matches the footprint of the AtlasIED Model 62-8, ensuring compatibility with the majority of AtlasIED 8" tile bridges, mounting rings, and enclosures. Contractors can remove the volume control knob where zoning requirements call for fixed output, making this a versatile single-SKU solution across diverse install scenarios.
