The AtlasIED SHS-6T2 is engineered for installed audio environments where visual continuity is as critical as acoustic performance. Only a 3-inch diameter lens and a micro trim ring are visible at the ceiling surface, making it functionally invisible in finished spaces.
Unlike standard ceiling speakers that produce uneven coverage and hot spots, the SHS-6T2 uses a patented coaxial waveguide and adaptive diffuser lens to deliver smooth, uniform frequency response across an ultra-wide dispersion pattern. The built-in 70.7V and 100V transformer supports multi-tap distributed audio systems, and the sealed enclosure contributes to controlled low-frequency reproduction without requiring an external backcan. The integrated rail system eliminates the need for separate hardware during tile installation, reducing labor time significantly on large-scale deployments.
Three dispersion lens configurations are included to accommodate varying ceiling heights and application requirements — from low-ceiling sound masking environments to high-ceiling intelligibility-critical spaces. For projects requiring seamless aesthetic integration, the optional SHS-CUST DesignLab color-match service allows the lens and trim ring to be UV-printed to match virtually any ceiling material, finish, or color, preserving architectural intent without acoustic compromise.
