The AtlasIED SHS-6T2CVR is built for integrators deploying paging and mass notification in environments where air quality compliance is non-negotiable — pharmaceutical cleanrooms, surgical suites, food processing facilities, and other ISO-classified spaces. Unlike standard drop-ceiling speakers that leave the building plenum exposed to occupied clean zones, this unit ships with a durable rubber cover that seals the plenum opening after install, maintaining the barrier integrity required in sensitive air environments.
For the installing contractor, the SHS platform eliminates most of the friction associated with ceiling speaker rough-ins. The enclosure carries all mounting hardware internally, including four adjustable tile rails that deploy without screws. A single 2.75-inch cutout is all that's needed in the ceiling tile, and the finished result shows only a three-inch lens and micro trim ring — visually unobtrusive in any professional or clinical interior. DSP-corrected frequency response and a wide 130-degree dispersion pattern optimize intelligibility for speech-critical paging applications where a heard message can be as consequential as the air quality it must not compromise.
The SHS-6T2CVR supports both 70.7V and 100V distributed audio systems with selectable wattage taps, making it compatible with standard commercial amplifier infrastructure.
