Once installed, the concealed lens and micro trim ring reduce the visual profile to that of a high-end ceiling sprinkler head. Integrators requiring custom aesthetics can leverage AtlasIED's DesignLab UV printing service for color-matched lenses and trim rings. Three lens configurations — 4mm solid, 8mm solid, and 4mm direct fire — allow optimization for ceiling heights under 10 feet, between 10 and 14 feet, or above 14 feet requiring maximum speech intelligibility.
System connectivity is equally flexible: the included removable 4-pole euro-style connector supports any standard 70V or 100V amplifier via 2-conductor commercial speaker wire, while Cat5e in/out terminals allow daisy chaining when used with an AtlasIED Z-Series High-Definition Acoustical System. This dual-path connectivity makes the SHS series a strong candidate for both new construction and retrofit commercial audio or sound masking deployments.
