The AtlasIED SM12SUB70-W is built for commercial audio integrators who need clean low-frequency extension in distributed 70.7V or 100V systems — foreground music venues, houses of worship, hospitality spaces, and large-format retail environments where standard ceiling speakers fall short on impact. The built-in 60-watt transformer and passive crossover network allow this subwoofer to be paralleled directly into any existing 70.7V system without additional signal processing hardware or a dedicated amplifier channel, simplifying rack design and reducing installed cost.
The compact multi-angle wood enclosure is fitted with multiple quarter-inch threaded inserts, giving installers flexible rigging options for flown, surface-mounted, or wall-bracket configurations. A barrier strip input accepts 70.7V, 100V, and 8Ω wiring, while a parallel four-pole Speakon input is available for direct 8Ω operation. The input panel is engineered to accept a standard 4-inch square box cover, making it compatible with conduit termination requirements common in commercial construction. The rough-coat finish and heavy-duty grille assembly are suited to installations where aesthetics and durability must coexist.
