The AtlasIED SM52T is purpose-built for installed sound applications where reliability and intelligibility cannot be compromised. Integrators deploying distributed 70V or 100V systems in hospitality, retail, education, transportation hubs, or outdoor venues will find the SM52T's internally mounted 30-watt transformer with eight selectable power taps — including an 8-ohm bypass — a practical fit for zone-level volume control without external hardware.
Designed for the harshest environments, the SM52T's UV-resistant talc-impregnated polypropylene cabinet, powder-coated aluminum grille, and all-brass hardware inserts provide year-round performance whether deployed indoors under high humidity or in covered outdoor installations. The symmetrical high-frequency section maintains consistent coverage in both vertical and horizontal cabinet orientations, a meaningful advantage when mounting constraints vary across a project.
The included zinc chromate plated C-bracket supports quick surface installation on nearly any substrate, while 2-3/8" OC brass inserts on the rear accommodate OMNIMOUNT brackets and a 5/8"-27 threaded hole enables microphone stand mounting for near-field live sound use. A tongue-in-groove cover with rubber wire grommet seals the input and transformer switch assembly against moisture ingress. All 1/4"-20 hardware inserts accept standard off-the-shelf security fasteners for vandal-resistant deployments.
