Its weather-resistant construction, including UV-stabilized polypropylene cabinets, powder-coated aluminum grilles, and all-brass hardware, meets the 100-hour salt spray standard per ASTM B117, making it a dependable choice where consumer-grade enclosures fail prematurely.
The two-way design pairs a high-efficiency 8" HYCONET-treated woofer with a 1" exit titanium compression driver directed by the AtlasIED TRX Control WaveGuide for smooth, constant-directivity high-frequency reproduction at 65° horizontal by 65° vertical — symmetrical in both vertical and horizontal cabinet orientations. The PolyGuard circuit actively diverts damaging transient signals away from the HF driver, reducing field service calls in high-uptime installed environments.
For system designers working in 70V or 100V distributed topologies, the internally mounted 60-watt transformer offers seven screwdriver-selectable power taps plus an 8Ω bypass, eliminating the need for external transformer accessories. The included C-bracket supports installation on virtually any surface, a 5/8"-27 threaded hole accommodates AtlasIED mic stands for near-field applications, and rear brass inserts allow OMNIMOUNT-compatible positioning — giving installers flexible placement options without additional hardware procurement.
