The AtlasIED SMA-15 is built for AV professionals and production teams who need a self-contained, deployable PA solution without permanent installation. With independent gain and multi-band EQ on both the mic and line channels, it gives engineers in-the-box control typically reserved for external consoles — making it a practical choice for rental and staging companies, houses of worship running portable setups, and AV integrators supporting school or corporate presentation environments.

The rear-panel connectivity is specifically engineered for system scalability. The XLR Line Out allows a second SMA unit to share the same line source, while the Speakon Amp Out port can directly drive a passive SMP-series speaker — eliminating the need for a separate amplifier in smaller deployments. This combination of flexible I/O and onboard signal processing makes the SMA-15 a compact front-of-house solution for operators who need fast setup and reliable performance across varied venues.

The die-cast low-frequency driver and high-frequency compression driver are housed in an injection-molded polypropylene enclosure designed to withstand the rigors of repeated transport and setup cycles. The resettable PTC protection switch on the high-pass crossover section guards the HF driver against power surges, reducing maintenance costs for rental inventories. Integrated side handles and a 1-3/8" pole socket round out a design optimized for solo operators working quickly in the field.
