The AtlasIED SMP-12 is built for live production engineers and touring companies who need a reliable passive cabinet to extend an existing powered system. Designed specifically to pair with the AtlasIED SMA powered speaker series, the SMP-12 connects via Speakon to share a source signal cleanly, making system expansion straightforward without additional amplification infrastructure.
Its 2-way design — a die-cast frame 12" low-frequency driver paired with a high-frequency horn-loaded compression driver — delivers the pattern control and frequency extension needed in both front-of-house and stage monitor configurations. The wide dispersion and 77Hz–17.5kHz response make it versatile enough to handle vocals, instruments, and speech reinforcement across venue types.
The injection-molded polypropylene enclosure is lightweight enough for repeated deployment but built to take production wear. Three easy-grip handles, a bottom-mounted 1-3/8" pole socket, and the Speakon input all reflect a workflow-first design that integrates into working stage rigs without added complexity. The 36-month warranty backs its fit for professional installation and rental inventory alike.
