The two-section metal tubing pairs with a three-piece clutch mechanism that allows smooth, secure vertical height adjustment without play or slippage — a critical difference from budget clutch designs that loosen over extended use. Three low-profile metal legs with cup terminations widen the footprint for a low center of gravity, making the stand resistant to tip-over even on uneven stage decks. The 5/8"-27 threaded end with a lock-nut ring accepts standard microphone adapters as well as extension booms, giving FOH engineers and stage techs maximum flexibility in mic placement.

The non-reflective ebony finish keeps the stand visually neutral under stage lighting — a detail that matters for broadcast, theater, and televised live performance where reflective hardware becomes a production problem.
