The mixer accepts one balanced mic/line input via Phoenix connector and three unbalanced stereo 3.5mm line inputs, offering both switchable phantom power for condenser microphones and a defeatable high pass filter on the mic input to control low-frequency noise. Priority paging via contact closure or VOX trigger on Input 1 mutes assignable inputs, ensuring announcements are never masked by music playback. The variable output limiter reduces clipping when mixing sources with inconsistent levels — a common challenge in multi-zone installed systems.
Remote integration is a standout capability: the TSD-MIX42RT pairs with the optional WPD-MIX42RT wall plate for remote source selection and volume, and supports the AAVC-10K or WPD-VC10K for independent remote level control of the master bus or individual inputs.
