The AtlasIED Texas Tough series targets AV integrators who need a rack that performs as a design element in corporate boardrooms, houses of worship, and high-profile commercial installs. Unlike utility cabinets designed to be tucked away, Texas Tough racks are built with a digital rack crown carrying an LED-edgelit acrylic badge that can be customized with a client or integrator logo, and tied into a contact closure for remote fault indication — delivering both branded presence and active equipment monitoring from a single integrated system.
Internally, down-firing LED soffit lighting with dip-switch intensity control gives technicians working access with the door open while providing ambient display lighting when closed. The patented DINlok system lets front and rear rails slide along standard DIN rails for fast depth adjustment across a wide range of rack-mount gear without additional hardware. Replaceable filter panels on the side cutouts block dust ingress in standalone deployments, and locking gang points allow multiple cabinets to be bolted into arrays when larger capacity is required.
Construction is 16-gauge steel throughout the top, bottom, and frame, and every unit is manufactured in the USA and safety listed to UL 2416. Two pairs of front-to-rear adjustable mounting rails are included, tapped 10-32 at standard EIA 5/8"-5/8"-1/2" spacing, ensuring compatibility with the full range of professional AV and IT rack-mount equipment.
