Its signature digital rack crown houses a multi-color LED edgelit acrylic badge — customizable with a client or integrator logo — along with an integrated circuit board that monitors equipment faults via contact closure, triggering LED color changes and an audible alarm to give technicians an immediate visual and sonic alert without opening the door.
Down-firing LED soffit lights with dip-switch intensity control serve a dual purpose: full-brightness task lighting when the door is open for service, and subdued ambient illumination with the door closed for architecturally sensitive environments such as boardrooms, houses of worship, and luxury installations. The patented DINlok rail system allows front and rear mounting rails to snap onto standard DIN rails and slide to accommodate varying equipment depths, eliminating the need for custom hardware when mixing shallow and deep rack-mount gear.
Texas Tough cabinets are built for permanence and flexibility. Sixteen-gauge steel construction throughout the top, bottom, and frame meets E.I.A. rail spacing standards, while the gangable side panel design allows multiple units to be bolted together with integrated locking points and shared cable pass-through cutouts.
