The AtlasIED Texas Tough series targets AV integrators who need a rack that performs as a design element in corporate boardrooms, houses of worship, broadcast control rooms, and other high-profile installed environments. Unlike utility racks designed to be hidden, Texas Tough cabinets are engineered to be front-and-center, with a precision-welded 16-gauge frame and a signature digital rack crown that doubles as an active monitoring interface — the onboard contact closure triggers LED color changes and an audible alarm when equipment faults are detected, giving facility managers an immediate visual indicator without opening a service ticket.
The patented DINlok system allows front and rear rails to snap onto universal DIN rails and slide to any depth position, accommodating the full range of rack-mount AV, network, and control equipment without custom fabrication. Down-firing LED soffit lighting is independently adjustable for open-door service work and closed-door ambient display, making the cabinet functional for technicians and presentable to clients simultaneously. The multi-functional side cutout panels support either gangable array bolt connections or dust-prevention filter cubes depending on deployment topology — a practical advantage over fixed-configuration competitors that require separate accessory kits for each use case.
All Texas Tough cabinets are manufactured in the USA and carry a UL 2416 safety listing, providing the documentation trail required for commercial permit submissions and enterprise IT procurement.
