The dual whizzer cone and 10 oz. ceramic magnet extend the usable frequency range while maintaining the high intelligibility needed for voice evacuation and alarm tone reproduction. DC blocking capacitors and 6" color-coded leads simplify wiring in multi-zone distributed audio systems. The fire-retardant, moisture-proof cone ensures long-term reliability in the demanding environments typical of commercial and institutional installations.
Multi-tapped transformer power settings give system designers flexibility to match coverage zones without additional components, and the included U161-8 baffle provides a clean, unobtrusive ceiling appearance appropriate for hospitality, healthcare, education, and commercial facilities.
