The AtlasIED VPCS Series wired intercom station is designed for systems integrators and security installers requiring reliable voice communication and call origination in high-traffic or vandalism-prone environments. The shallow back-box depth allows installation in standard 2- and 3-gang electrical boxes without wall modification, making it a practical choice for retrofit and new construction commercial projects alike.
The PB configuration adds a heavy-duty, momentary push-button call switch rated for continuous use, housed on an 11-gauge stainless steel face plate and sealed to IP65 for moisture resistance. The push-button assembly uses nickel-plated brass construction, making it appropriate for lobbies, warehouses, correctional facilities, and entry control points where durability is non-negotiable.
The 25V transformer with selectable watt taps integrates directly into 70V/25V distributed audio infrastructures, giving engineers flexibility to balance drive levels across multi-station intercom runs. The two-piece die-cast baffle system shields the loudspeaker cone from physical damage, while the moisture-resistant phenolic resin cone maintains voice intelligibility over the critical speech frequency range without requiring external enclosure treatment.
