The AtlasIED VTF Series patented flush-mount compression driver speakers are engineered for integrators and systems contractors deploying distributed audio in commercial, industrial, and institutional environments. Designed for recessed installation into 4" or 4 11/16" SQ backboxes using model AR or MR adapter rings (ordered separately), these units fit cleanly into ceiling or wall assemblies where surface-mount hardware is not acceptable. With barrier strip termination and selectable transformer taps, the VTF Series slots efficiently into existing 25V or 70.7V distributed audio infrastructures without added adapters.
The high-efficiency compression driver with integral exponential horn maximizes acoustic conversion efficiency, meaning fewer units are required to meet a target SPL across a coverage zone — translating directly into lower amplifier costs and reduced installation labor. A wide dispersion pattern ensures even coverage in corridors, warehouses, transit facilities, and other large or irregular spaces where intelligibility is the primary design target. The die-cast, water-sealed enclosure resists vandalism, vermin, moisture, dust, and corrosion, making it equally at home in covered outdoor venues, production facilities, and harsh industrial settings.
