It sits at the head-end amp rack and serves as the advanced power and control hub when a project demands more than the standard WTSD-PWBOB can provide — specifically when emergency muting, relay-driven amp control, or bus-level gain management are required.
Integrators working in conference rooms, corporate AV installs, or distributed audio environments will find the WTSD-PWHUB essential for protecting high-power amplifier systems. The peak limiter prevents downstream amplifiers and speakers from being overloaded when multiple WTSD units share a single bus, while the balanced output with ground lift addresses the hum and grounding issues that commonly arise in rack-based installed systems. Emergency CC mute support enables direct integration with fire alarm and life-safety systems, satisfying code requirements without additional hardware.
The dual relay architecture provides both automated and manual control paths: one relay responds to the system's auto sleep function to power the amp rack down during unoccupied periods, and a second relay is triggered by the System Priority button on compatible WTSD mixer models to mute background music and building-wide paging when a room needs local control precedence. A 24VDC power supply is required but not included with the unit.
