The Atomos Shogun AV-19M is built for live production directors, broadcast engineers, and on-set DIT operators who need a single rack-mounted display capable of handling hybrid IP and traditional video workflows simultaneously. At 19 inches and 7RU, it slots into production racks and flypack rigs while delivering a 3840x2160 10-bit panel with 1200 nits of brightness and 99% DCI-P3 coverage, giving colorists and operators an accurate reference without a separate calibration monitor.
Where the Shogun AV-19M separates itself from conventional rackmount monitors is its hybrid signal architecture. Engineers can receive low-latency NDI HX3 streams over Ethernet and display a single source full-screen or split four NDI feeds into a simultaneous quad-view layout, all from the same unit that handles 12G-SDI and HDMI inputs. This eliminates the need for a dedicated multiviewer in smaller broadcast and live event setups. A full suite of professional on-screen tools, including EL Zone false color, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, and extensive LUT support, give the production team the technical confidence to make critical exposure and color decisions in real time.
For studio and on-set environments, the capacitive touchscreen interface, six user-assignable function buttons, and active cooling system make daily operator use practical without fan noise surprises. An optional flypack accessory extends deployability for touring and remote broadcast applications.
