The low-profile AT4021 from Audio-Technica is a condenser microphone with rugged construction that consistently delivers outstanding performance. Its cardioid pattern helps isolate the desired sound source while its high front-to-back rejection ratio minimizes pickup of unwanted background noise. Ideal for studio recording and live performance applications where high sound quality is critical, the AT4021 features a low-mass diaphragm that improves transient response, increases response bandwidth and reduces self-noise from handling or mechanical noise transfer—making it a perfect fit for digital recording equipment.
Boasting fantastic low-frequency sound reproduction, this low-profile mic includes a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and a 10 dB pad. It also offers flat, extended frequency response, effortless handling of high maximum sound pressure levels, and a wide dynamic range of 132 dB (1 kHz at Max SPL). This microphone also comes with a custom AT8405a stand clamp (for 5/8"-27 threaded stands), a windscreen for dampening wind noise and vocal pops, and a protective carrying case for safe transportation and storage.
