The AT8022 X/Y Stereo Microphone from Audio-Technica delivers pristine sound quality in a compact, lightweight design that optimizes its portability and versatility. This mic’s coincident capsule configuration is small enough to fit into its low-profile housing, all while accurately producing an X/Y stereo image. Whether you’re at home, in the studio, or out in the field, this mic is a great stereo recording tool that is ideal for interviews, camera-mounted video applications, handheld digital recording devices, and so much more!

Operating on battery or phantom power, the AT8022 comes with two cables for optimal compatibility with both pro and consumer gear. One cable is an unbalanced 0.6 m (2 foot) long stereo cable, while the other is a balanced, 2 m (6.5 foot) long, 8 conductor, shielded, vinyl-jacketed stereo cable with 5-pin XLRF-type connector at microphone end and two 3-pin XLRM-type connectors at the output end. Also included with the AT8022 is a custom AT8405a stand clamp for 5/8"-27 threaded stands that help isolate from background noise, a windscreen to protect against wind and vocal pops, a battery, and an S12 soft protective pouch for safe transport and storage.
