- Designed For Audio-Technica 40 Series Studio Microphones For A Matched Fit
Studio engineers and recording facilities rely on a dedicated suspension mount to keep a studio microphone isolated from whatever is holding it. This Audio-Technica metal mount is made for the 40 Series line, including the AT4047MP, and is designed to cut the noise, shock, and vibration that travel through stands, booms, and mounts before they reach the microphone.
For vocal booths, voiceover rooms, broadcast suites, and project studios, the payoff is cleaner takes with less low-frequency rumble and fewer retakes caused by floor bumps or boom movement. A metal body adds durability for rooms where gear is set up and torn down often. Because the mount comes in two colors, facilities can keep hardware consistent across rooms without changing the mounting approach.
Compared with improvised clips or generic adapters, a mount from the same manufacturer as the microphone means more predictable fit, which simplifies specifying hardware for a studio build or replacing a lost or damaged mount. It is a simple hardware upgrade that protects recordings without changing the rest of the signal chain.
