The Audix NC2HEC is built for vocalists, worship leaders, and presenters who need professional-grade dual-channel wireless performance without assembling a system from separate components. It ships as a matched, ready-to-run package: the NCR2 dual-channel digital receiver, two NCHH handheld transmitter bodies, and two NCEC extended cardioid capsules are included and pre-configured on the Novacore platform. One-touch IR sync gets the system operational in seconds, and AES-256 encryption ensures signal security in shared-frequency environments such as houses of worship, conference centers, and touring venues.
The NCR2 receiver operates across a 48 MHz UHF tuning range with less than 3 ms latency, 24-bit digital audio processing, and over 110 dB dynamic range, making it a practical choice for high-SPL stage environments as well as speech-critical presentation settings. Dante and AES67 networking via RJ45 is integrated into the receiver, enabling direct connection to modern installed audio networks without external conversion. The NCEC extended cardioid capsule uses Audix VLM transducer technology for natural transient response across a wide dynamic range, and its standard S-thread mount accepts the NCTH tight hypercardioid capsule with no tools required, allowing vocalists or engineers to swap capsules at any time.
Scalability is a primary design goal of the Novacore ecosystem. Additional channels, transmitters, and receivers can be added as production demands grow, protecting the initial investment. USB-C charging is built into each NCHH transmitter body, and the system supports both alkaline AA batteries and the optional NCLB rechargeable lithium-ion pack, giving engineers flexibility on the road or in fixed installations.
