The Audix NC4HEC is built for production environments where four independent vocal channels need to be operational quickly and reliably. Live sound engineers, worship AV directors, and touring production teams get a complete quad-channel Novacore digital wireless system without sourcing components separately. The NCR4 four-channel receiver, four NCHH handheld transmitter bodies, and four NCEC extended cardioid capsules ship together and are pre-matched on the Novacore RF platform, so first-use setup is reduced to IR sync rather than frequency coordination.
The NCEC extended cardioid capsule is voiced from the Audix OMX series, delivering natural transient response and even coverage across a wide dynamic range. That makes it well suited to lead vocalists, worship leaders, and roaming presenters who need consistent pickup despite movement across the stage. The 48 MHz UHF tuning range gives frequency coordination flexibility in congested RF environments, while AES-256 encryption closes the loop on RF security in corporate, house-of-worship, and broadcast settings. The NCR4 outputs both analog XLR and networked Dante/AES67, so the system integrates into IP audio infrastructures without additional hardware.
Battery flexibility matters on long production days. Each NCHH runs 9-plus hours on two AA alkaline cells or one NCLB rechargeable lithium-ion pack with USB-C charging built directly into the transmitter body. The NCEC capsule uses a standard S-thread mount, meaning a swap to an NCTH tight hypercardioid capsule requires no tools, giving teams the option to tailor the pickup pattern mid-run. The system is expandable within the Novacore ecosystem by adding channels, transmitters, or receivers as production scale increases.
