The TA3M mic input accepts any microphone terminated with a TA3F connector, giving engineers flexibility to deploy AUDIX headset and lavalier mics as well as compatible third-party capsules. Switchable RF output power lets coordinators conserve battery life in close-range installs or push coverage in larger venues. AES-256 encryption, which is defeatable when not required, addresses secure comms use cases in government, education, and broadcast contexts where signal privacy matters.
For production environments where reliability and control are non-negotiable, the NCBP provides real-time LCD readout of group, channel, battery status, and RF signal strength, along with transmitter lock accessed beneath the battery cover to prevent accidental setting changes during a performance.
