The Audix NCHEC is a purpose-built, single-channel digital wireless system designed for live vocalists, worship leaders, and working presenters who need a professional-grade solution without the complexity of assembling individual components. The package pairs the NCR1 half-rack digital receiver, the NCHH digital handheld transmitter body, and the NCEC extended cardioid capsule into one cohesive system that goes from box to stage with minimal setup. Unlike budget wireless bundles that compromise on RF architecture or audio transparency, the NCHEC operates on a true AES-256 encrypted UHF digital platform with 44.1 kHz / 24-bit audio processing and greater than 110 dBA dynamic range, characteristics that put it directly in competition with significantly more expensive professional wireless systems.
For live production and house-of-worship environments where RF congestion is a daily challenge, the 48 MHz UHF tuning range across 494-542 MHz gives engineers meaningful frequency agility. One-touch IR sync between the pre-matched transmitter and receiver reduces setup time at load-in, and the half-rack NCR1 chassis integrates cleanly into existing rack infrastructure or deploys standalone with the included 12 VDC power supply. The NCEC capsule uses Audix VLM capsule technology with an extended cardioid polar pattern, delivering consistent off-axis rejection and natural transient response without the coloration common to less refined wireless capsule designs.
The system is designed with forward compatibility in mind. The standard S-thread capsule mount allows tool-free swaps to the NCTH tight hypercardioid or other Novacore-compatible capsules as performance requirements change, and the broader Novacore ecosystem supports expansion with additional channels, transmitters, and receivers without replacing core infrastructure. USB-C charging built into the NCHH transmitter body and compatibility with the NCLB rechargeable lithium-ion battery add operational flexibility for touring and installed applications alike.
