It combines the NCHH UHF digital transmitter and the NCEC extended cardioid capsule into a single bundle that ships ready for the stage. The NCEC capsule draws its voicing from the same proprietary VLM capsule technology used in the Audix OMX series of stage microphones, delivering consistent off-axis rejection and strong transient response across live sound and house-of-worship environments where natural vocal reproduction matters more than heavy coloration.

The NCHH transmitter operates across a 48 MHz UHF tuning range with AES-256 encrypted digital transmission and less than 3 ms latency, making it suitable for broadcast, theater, and any application where secure, low-latency RF is a hard requirement. One-touch IR sync pairs to any Novacore receiver quickly, and the front-panel LCD with controls beneath the battery cover gives engineers access to variable input gain, low-cut filter, limiter, switchable RF output power, and three mute modes without hunting through menus. USB-C charging is built into the transmitter body, and the system runs on standard AA alkaline batteries when a dedicated charging infrastructure is not available.

The NCEC capsule mounts via the standard S-thread system, so engineers can swap to the NCTH tight hypercardioid capsule at any time without tools, extending the system's utility across different room acoustics and performance contexts. For integrators and rental houses stocking a unified Audix Novacore ecosystem, the NCHHEC provides a predictable, consistent baseline that scales alongside receiver and capsule investments already in the inventory.
