The Audix NCR1 is a single-channel UHF digital wireless receiver built for sound engineers and AV integrators who need professional-grade encrypted audio in a compact, half-rack chassis. Operating across a 48 MHz tuning range in the UHF band, it supports over 30 simultaneous independent systems, making it viable for multi-system live sound rigs, corporate AV installs, and house-of-worship deployments where RF congestion is a real concern. One-touch IR sync with Novacore handheld and bodypack transmitters reduces setup time at load-in, and the front-panel LCD delivers real-time monitoring of RF levels, audio levels, diversity status, battery condition, and squelch without diving into menus.

The NCR1 differentiates itself from analog alternatives through AES-256 encryption and less than 3 ms latency, addressing both security and timing requirements in broadcast and corporate environments. Dual rear RJ11 ports enable direct daisy-chaining to Audix Frequency Coordination software, eliminating the need for a network switch in multi-receiver racks. The balanced XLR output includes a switchable pad and ground lift, giving engineers clean integration into any console or snake. Because the NCR1 shares the same RF platform as the NCR2 and NCR4, it can coexist in mixed-receiver deployments as a system grows, protecting the initial investment for integrators building scalable wireless infrastructure.
