The ATM355VF is a professional-grade instrument microphone designed for touring musicians, pit orchestras, and live sound engineers who need reliable, isolated capture of acoustic strings and woodwinds. Its fixed-charge condenser element and cardioid pattern reject side and rear pickup, critical for preventing bleed in dense ensemble settings while maintaining the natural timbre of the source instrument.

Audio-Technica includes dedicated mounts for violin and flute, plus the AT8543 power module with switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter to eliminate stage rumble and handling noise without sacrificing articulation. The flexible gooseneck accommodates movement during performance, and interchangeable capsules (sold separately) let you adapt from cardioid to hypercardioid or omnidirectional depending on stage proximity and rejection requirements.
