The Audio-Technica ATW-CHG3AAD is a dedicated charging solution for touring sound engineers, church installers, and broadcast teams deploying 3000 Series wireless systems at scale. This bundle pairs the ATW-CHG3A two-bay charging station with the required AD-SA1230XA AC adapter, eliminating the need for separate purchasing. Transmitters power off automatically when docked and power on when removed, reducing user error and extending battery life through intelligent charge cycling.

Compatible with 3000 Series handheld and bodypack transmitters, 3000 Series IEM receivers, and System 20 PRO transmitters, the station charges NiMH batteries while they remain housed in the units—no battery extraction required. Built-in safety detects alkaline or damaged cells and cuts charging immediately, protecting both batteries and transmitters in high-turnover rental or institutional environments. Maintenance charging mode keeps fully charged batteries at peak capacity for as long as transmitters sit in the dock.

For larger deployments, up to five ATW-CHG3A stations can be daisy-chained using AT8687 link kits and powered from a single adapter, consolidating AC connections and wall space in wireless racks or road cases. LED indicators display power and charging status at a glance, critical for live production and rental operations where downtime must be minimized.
