The Avante Achromic AS8 series is designed for solo performers, duos, small bands, DJs, and mobile entertainers who need a compact, professional-grade column PA that sets up fast and travels light. The system pairs an active 8-inch neodymium subwoofer enclosure with a precision-aligned six-driver speaker column and a spacer column that raises the array to an optimal listening height. Avante's SAM (Secure Array Mount) system locks all sections together without risk of toppling, and simultaneously passes audio signal from the sub up through the column stack, eliminating speaker cables entirely between components.
The integrated Class D amplifier delivers 1000W peak output with a built-in limiter, while the rear-panel 4-input mixer handles two XLR/TRS combo mic and line inputs, two 1/4" guitar and line inputs, and a 1/8" stereo aux input, all with per-channel gain control and a dual-band main EQ. Bluetooth wireless streaming lets performers pull backing tracks from a phone or tablet without a direct connection. A balanced XLR line output feeds monitors or recording interfaces. Power options vary across the AS8 family, making it suitable for venues with house power as well as off-grid or outdoor environments where AC is unavailable.
Both the subwoofer enclosure and column array use PP plastic cabinets with 1.0mm steel grills, keeping the total system weight low enough to fit in a small car. The included padded carry bag protects the column units in transit. Compared to competing column systems, the AS8 delivers a wider mixer feature set and the cable-free SAM interconnect, reducing setup complexity for performers who work without a dedicated crew.
