The Avante AVA18S is a portable 18" active subwoofer designed for touring engineers, production companies, and rental houses that need consistent low-frequency reinforcement without relying on external amplification or processing racks. The onboard Class D amplifier delivers 1600W peak output from an 18-inch woofer with a 3-inch voice coil, reaching 127dB peak SPL. Built-in DSP with an LCD screen gives engineers direct access to EQ presets and system tuning at the cabinet, reducing setup time in live event environments.
The AVA18S supports both omni-directional and cardioid deployment, giving production teams the ability to shape low-frequency coverage patterns to suit the venue. Dual balanced XLR/TRS combo inputs and dual balanced male XLR outputs allow straightforward integration into existing signal chains. A pole mount and included mounting pole add further flexibility for configurations where the sub needs to serve as a stand for a top cabinet. The 15mm plywood enclosure and 1.5mm steel grille are built to handle repeated load-in and transport, while dual side handles ease positioning on-site. Dual voltage compatibility makes the unit suitable for domestic and international touring applications.
